2026 WVU Homecoming Weekend

Homecoming Game Day

Here is what’s new for Homecoming 2026:

• Alumni Band Percussion will join the WVU Pride Percussion for the “Pre-game Entrance.” More information will be forthcoming.
• We will have a sideline area during pre-game for woodwind and brass members with mobility issues to perform with the bands. Be sure to mark this on your registration.
• Performance:
• • There is a new version of The Star-Spangled Banner. Be sure to download the version labeled “2026” from the music library.
  • Since we have not been allotted hardly any playing time in the stands over the past several years, we have decided it is no longer worth taking instruments into the stands. Athletic Game-Day Operations determine "the Pride's" playing time, and many of you have noticed it has been cut back - which means virtually no time for us at Homecoming. More information about instrument storage during the game will be forthcoming.
