The WVU Alumni Band has been invited to play at three upcoming basketball events at the WVU Coliseum.
Register for one or all three events!
Schedule
- Call time is 90 minutes prior to game time.
- For 2:00pm game, meet at 12:30pm.
- For 7:00pm games, meet at 5:30pm.
Attire
Our goal should be to look as much like the University Pep Band as possible.
- Gold or navy long sleeve shirts
- Khaki pants not jeans
- White ball caps
- Tennis Shoes
Equipment/Instrument Rental
If you have need of an instrument (for example, tuba, percussion, etc.) and do not have access to it through your personal resources, please let us know and we will try to provide it for you (see registration form).
Music
The band will be playing as much as possible during the games just like the University band. The directors will work with Athletics - who will provide a detailed script on when various things occur during the games.
Parking/Facility Entrance
Band members must enter from the doors nearest the river: Country Roads entrance.
Other Details
Food: High possibility that pizza and water will be provided under the stands for the band. AB members are welcome to share the food with the kids.
Code of Conduct: We are representing the University (most likely on television) and our actions will be on display.
Registration/Deadline
The registration deadline is Noon on Saturday, December 20, 2025, for the December games. The deadline is Noon on Monday, January 5, 2026 for the WVU vs Cincinnati game.
