Register today so you don't miss out participating in the performance. It is open to all band alumni and their families. Registration is open through April 16, 2026. 

Gold-Blue Showcase Information

We will be playing in the stands (Section TBD) with The Pride. Dr. Williams has provided a list of tunes (see below under music) for the event.   

• Entry / Wrist Bands - The Pride and Alumni Band will enter the stadium together. Please be at the SOUTHEAST GATE (located outside the visiting team tunnel closest to Don Nehlen Blvd.) by 10:45 am. John Hendricks will be there to distribute wristbands to Alumni Band members. You must have this wristband for entry. (Subject to change per WVU Athletics.) Alumni Band members will sit with The Pride. The Showcase event begins at Noon.

• Attire - 
• • Blue Alumni Band shirt
  • Dark Blue Jeans 
  • White ball cap (either Alumni Band, Pride, or WVU hat)

If there is inclement weather, plan to dress accordingly (raincoats - preferably blue or clear - are recommended).

• Seating - Alumni Band members will sit with The Pride. 

• Music - Besides pregame music, please download these stand tunes found on the Alumni Band website: Pretty Fly, Runaway Baby, Holiday, and Celebration. Please note that the band may play a few other selections that are not in the Alumni packets. Please go to the Music tab (shown below) at the website (www.wvualumniband.org). You will need to be logged in to see the music. If you have any issues, please email Sarah at webmaster@wvualumniband.org.

  

• Equipment/Instrument Rental - We are trying to provide rental equipment for this event. Please be sure to complete the rental section of the form if you are in need of equipment. NOTE THAT THERE IS NO FEE FOR EQUIPMENT. WE DO ASK THAT YOU PLEASE READ AND AGREE TO THE TERMS. Please reserve your equipment by Wednesday, April 15, 2026. After that date we cannot guarantee availability. See rental agreement here.

• Parking - Please park in general parking areas (usually announced the week of the event by WVU).
