The Alumni Band has been invited to perform during the event. The pig roast helps to raise funds for local students attending WVU! Register today so you don't miss out participating in the performance. It is open to all band alumni and their families. Registration is open through Wednesday, July 9, 2025. A detailed schedule is forthcoming.
- Gates open at 4pm
- Dinner served at 4:30pm
- Registrants who play in the band will receive:

- free meal (which will be yummy),
- complimentary t-shirt,
- access to stay and enjoy the evening’s entertainment.

Other Event Information
Jon Dent, father of Pride member Brady Dent and brother of RFL Alumni Greg Dent, will be there playing with the Brayden Williamson Band. Brayden is a huge new star in Bluegrass music and is now making waves in Country Music.
Attire
· Blue gig shirt OR blue WVU shirt (No tank tops.)
· Khaki pants or shorts (Please avoid "daisy dukes.")
· Sandals are welcome, but please wear something supportive/protective and not an inexpensive flip flop.
· White Headwear (Alumni Member choice of Ballcap, Visor, Toboggan, Headband; Appropriate at discretion of AB Directors.)
Band alums, please try to wear an official WVU Alumni Band T-shirt (available at our online merchandise store).
Equipment/Instrument Rental
We are working to be able to provide rental equipment for this event. Please be sure to complete the rental section of the form if you are in need of equipment. NOTE THAT THERE WILL BE NO FEE FOR EQUIPMENT. WE DO ASK THAT YOU PLEASE READ AND AGREE TO THE TERMS. Please reserve your equipment by Monday, July 7, 2025. After that date we cannot guarantee availability. See rental agreement here.
Warm-up/Music
The pep band members will be taken to a staging area upon arrival. There will be some time to run through the tunes. Music can be found on the WVU Alumni Band website (www.wvualumniband.org) under your instrument section after you log in. The focus will be Pregame with possibly one or two more easy tunes (that all depends on how many non-geezer and Pride members turn out who have experience with the setlist!)

*For this event, the Alumni Band Board has waived the "Pep Band Membership" fee. This will allow any of our folks who have family members, etc., to play with the Alumni Band for this gig. This means there are no tickets to purchase. Please be sure to register family members who will be playing with the band.
